ClearConvo™ is a speech therapy service, providing assessments and treatment to both children and adults. We provide speech therapy services to NDIS participants anywhere in Australia via Telehealth (Online Speech Therapy).

NDIS REFERRAL

Our senior practice leader, Andrea Wilson, is a certified practising speech pathologist with nearly 20 years of experience. Andrea is also a Cogmed Certified coach.

Andrea obtained a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007 from Nova Southeastern University (USA) and an undergraduate degree in psychology from York University (Canada) in 2001.

Andrea has worked privately in Canadian hospitals, schools and in the community. In Australia, Andrea has worked in hospital and private practice settings (including work in Australian schools and providing speech therapy via telehealth since 2012).

Andrea is the most amazing speech pathologist we have ever come across. Andrea is very organised, professional, caring and courteous - and always goes above and beyond.

Both my boys (aged 6 & 12) are ASD - level 2/3 - they are reluctant learners and Andrea has been able to work with their idiosyncrasies, often having to quickly change her plans and think outside the box, yet Andrea has always manged to do this without ever getting flustered.

Andrea has shown a level of care not only for my children - but also for me as I parent, that we have not experienced in our 9 years of therapy.

Andrea is always very prompt in responding to requests and has provided reports that have far surpassed expectation. In fact, I have had other therapists comment on how amazing they are.

In a one hour session with my eldest child, Andrea was able to identify and confirm literacy issues that no other "professionals" have been able to identify.

Andrea is extremely caring, dedicated and knowledgeable. She has taken the time to build a relationship with our son, ensuring he remains engaged during the sessions, and is happy to practice at home. He has made amazing progress since we started to see her. We were referred to Andrea by a mutual friend and from the very first day we had a positive feeling about her approach towards our son. Andrea is organised, courteous and provides therapy in a very caring way. She doesn’t race against the clock instead spends quality time both with the child and the parent. She taught us (parents), on how to include speech therapy in our everyday interaction with our son.Not stopping at that, Andrea also followed up with video recordings of the session, notes about what she noticed, strengths of the child, areas to work upon, feedback about what we are doing to help him, what can be done further.

Definitely a five star to Andrea, and would highly recommend her.
